Providence Farm Announces Murray Logan Wins Draw in Annual Campaign
The winner of our draw for a stay at Affinity Guesthouse was Murray Logan, owner of Ye Old Dogwood Lumber on
Cowichan Lake Road. Murray's prize, donated by Affinity, includes a two-night getaway for a group of six. Providence
is thrilled that Murray is the lucky winner as he is a long-time supporter of the Farm and, among other contributions,
regularly donates lumber to our Seniors' Program. Participants and volunteers then make small items (benches, toys,
bean poles, end tables) which are sold in our farm Store, raising funds for the program. The Senior's Program, called
St. Ann's Garden Club, provides horticultural therapy, socialization, community, and other opportunities for seniors
with mental health challenges and age-related illnesses.
