Preparing the site for cabinet installation
1. Check that the cabinet(s) can be installed safely:
• Site is prepared according to drawings
• Site survey is complete
• Site survey report is available
• Site is clean
• Product delivery is complete
• All wiring is done in accordance with national electric code
• Lifting equipment and other equipment is available as defined in the Site Survey
Report
• Sufficient service clearances are available
2. Verify that the following external cabinet connections are available:
• Grounding bus bar
• Mains power (AC or DC, depending on the site)
• Transmission connection point

Always use antistatic wrist strap
• Do not remove protective packing from units before installation
• Always use the antistatic wrist strap
• Heavy units are WAF, WPA, WTR, WPS, and WFA
• Install units to slots with care to avoid damage to the back planes and connectors
• Test the power cabling before installing any of units
