    1. INTRUDUCTION

    This documet includes BSC basic commands for berginners.

    BSC SW S7.17 was in used. (BSC-MML commands may vary between different BSC SW version.)

    In example has used BCF=57, BTS=66, TRX-1 and 2.

    If you like to get more inforamtion, please look from NED, BSC S7:2.6 command reference manual. NED is a program package designed for the retrieval, viewing, and printing of the electronic Nokia documents. As a whole, NED consists of the system documentation, the NED viewer and the Model.

    At the beginning of an MML session, the user enters a user identification (= USER ID) and his password.

    6.1. Change max power bs tx pwr max, PMAX = decimal number With this parameter you identify the maximum transmission power of the BTS as an attenuation from the peak power of the TRX.     11. LINE EDITOR FUNCTIONS

    CONTROL-A

    Switches the editor from the INSERT mode to the REPLACE mode, or vice versa. In the REPLACE mode, the new characters you type are placed on top of the old characters, replacing them. In the INSERT mode, the old characters are moved forward, making room for the new ones.

    CONTROL-B

    CONTROL-B can be used for the same search functions in the command buffer as the 'up' arrow.

    CONTROL-D

    Moves the cursor one character to the left. Functions like the 'left' arrow.

    CONTROL-F

    Moves the cursor one character to the right. Functions like the 'right' arrow.

    CONTROL-K

    Language change key. Press the key to take the next language into use. The name of the language is displayed if there are several languages available.

    CONTROL-P

    Pressing CONTROL-P displays the following text on the screen:

    In addition, all the characters read into the line buffer so far are displayed. PAGE MODE means that the text is displayed one screen at a time, and the system waits for a command to continue the output. The request for the continuation command is displayed on the bottom line of the screen.

    CONTINUOUS MODE means that the text is output continuously without interruptions.

    You can change the PAGE MODE output to CONTINUOUS MODE during the output when the program is waiting for the continuation command. It is not possible to change the CONTINUOUS MODE to PAGE MODE during the outputting.

    CONTROL-Q

    With this character, you can continue the output which you have interrupted by pressing CONTROL-S.

    CONTROL-S

    Interrupts the output until CONTROL-Q is pressed.

    CONTROL-U

    Deletes all the characters in the line buffer and the written characters on the screen.
