It is one of the key events on the Islamic calendar and marks the anniversary of the birthday of the Prophet. It was a lovely morning with devotional Nasheeds playing in the background whilst the children settled in. The program started off with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Dua e Hujjat. This was followed by the recitation of poems by the students of Grades Two, Three and Four. There was also an Arabic and Kiswahili recitation by the Upper Primary Students. Lastly the Students of Grade 6 performed an exciting drama on Hard Work and Cooperation based on the two Moral Value themes taught during the Academic Year. Children from each class were also awarded a token for 'Best Discipline' in the Academic Year 2019. It was a day filled with lots of smiles and cheers and a day that will be cherished for years to come.
