A metal test tag with the test date; the requirement numberrequiring the test, the applicable code requirement(s) and date performed; and the nameof the person or firm performing the test; shall be installed in the machine room ormachine space for all Category 3 and 5 periodic tests for electric elevators and Category1, 3, and 5 tests for hydraulic elevators.8.11.2.3.1 Car and Counterweight Safeties.(b) For Type A safeties .......A metal tag shall be attached to the safety-releasing carrier in a permanent manner,giving the date of the safety test, together with the name of the person or firm whoperformed the test.8.11.2.3.3 Oil Buffers(e) After completion of the test, a metal tag, indicating the date of the test, together withthe name of the person or firm who performed the test, shall be attached to the buffer[Item 5.3.2(b)].8.11.3.2.4 Flexible Hose and Fitting Assemblies.Flexible hose and fitting assemblies shall be tested at the relief valve setting pressure fora minimum of 30 s.
