Ethanol Update
E15 Availability
E15 is available at more than 90 stations across the nation.
The locations are spread between 14 states. Wis., S.D., Ohio, Neb., N.D., N.C., Mo., Mich.,
Minn., Kan., Ill., Iowa, Ark. and Ala. E15 is less costly because wholesale
ethanol usually carries a lower price than gasoline. E15 retails for as much as 15 cents/gallon
less than E10
E15 Market Expansion
Major retailer Cenex (1,400 locations) recently developed partnership under the Cenex® Tank Program to provide additional E15 fuel dispensers at select retail locations.
Protec Fuel announced 28 new stations in states currently without E15 infrastructure across major metropolitan areas of Atlanta, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, as well as locations in Florida and Virginia.
Chicago City Council has been considering an ordinance that would mandate most gas stations offer E15.

Sport Fish Restoration & Boating Trust Fund
What is the SFRBTF?
The Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund (SFRBTF) provides funding for fisheries
conservation in the U.S., and is a critical funding pool for a diverse set of important state and
national recreational fishing and boating programs.

How does the SFRBRF work?
• SFRBTF receives its funding from an excise tax on fishing tackle and equipment as well as from the 18.3 cents per gallon federal tax on gasoline used in marine engines and other small engines
• The SFRBTF amounts to approximately $600 million per year

Legislative Update
Continue to support reauthorization of the Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund as part of the 2014 Highway Bill.
The House and Senate have passed an extension of the Trust Fund until the end of May 2015.
NMMA and its partners continue to work with Hill staff and Administration officials to address changes needed to ensure the continued viability of the Trust Fund.

• The Ex-Im Bank assists in financing U.S. exports from thousands of American companies
• 90% of the Bank’s transactions directly support U.S. small business, including many in our industry.
• Authorization set to expire at the end of the month• NMMA partnered with NAM and other stakeholders for the
“Exporters for Ex-Im” campaign• Thousands of letters (including via Boating United) generated to
Capitol Hill• Hundreds of Op-eds• Support from top Congressional leaders, the White House and other
key policy makers
