LESSONS LEARNED
• Do not assume we understand the problems
• We must act regionally
• We must act collaboratively: Our networks are interdependent.
• We cannot separate the human from the physical
• Stakeholders must be included from the beginning
• There are new players in charge, how do they understand the depth of the projects?
• How do we keep the community coalitions together – what is an ongoing support mechanism?
• How do we ensure the innovation lasts through value engineering and budget cuts?
• How can we meet expectations?
