  • The Australian Professional Snowsports Instructors (APSI) is an internationally recognized organization that trains and certifies snowsports instructors. The APSI, with the support of Niseko Base Snowsports (NBS), will be coming to Niseko this season and are offering a variety of courses and exams. The purpose of their trip is to not only offer training and exams for current snowsports instructors, but also to give those that are interested in becoming an instructor the opportunity to gain their first level of certification.Courses and exams will be run between the 6th and the 20th of February 2012. Please check out www.apsi.net.au for more info or see the team at NBS.

The APSI is a not-for-profit association formed in Australia in 1976 and for more than 30 years, the APSI has educated, trained and certified snowsports instructors from Australia and around the world. The APSI training program has a strong worldwide reputation within the ski industry and is endorsed by the international Ski Instructors Association (ISIA). It is a positive step for Niseko to be the host location for this training and certification program and both the APSI and NBS look forward to further developing instructor training in Niseko.
