We will enjoy High Tea in the garden of the Kalei- doscope Inn in Nipomo, with fashions provided by Dress Barn. Mark your calendars. May 18 th , we will have a luncheon at the Black Lake Golf Resort. Colonel Balliet, the Commander of Camp Roberts, will be our guest speaker. She has over 29 years of military service and has served two tours of duty in Iraq. The Colonel will talk about her experiences in Iraq. Contact Suzanne Miller at 929-8174 for more information. Deb Sherry is working on the Fur, Scales and Wings presentation by Pacif- ic Wildlife Care. More information will be provided in the near future. On a sad note, Marilyn Bomicino passed away on March 20. She was very active in Nipomo Newcomers and served on the Board as Activities Coor- dinator and also as Corresponding Secretary. Our condolences go out to her family and Teri Ruiz. Our next Board meeting will be May 25 th at the home of Linda Lee. If you would like to attend, call Linda Lee at 219-0426 to RSVP. The ladies net and finalized the details to create a new group. The group will meet weekly on Monday at 8:30am. Hiking locations will vary and will be set and communicated in advance. A special activity such as lunch or brunch may take place after each hike. The first hike will take place on April 10th. Would you like to join them? Call the chairperson, Jennifer Leland at 668-2331 for more information.
