Mario Vs Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem ispacked with new challenges and games. Itbegins when Mario opens a shiny new themepark and invites his girlfriend, Pauline, along asspecial guest for the event.

The day goes disastrously wrong pretty muchstraight away, however, when Donkey Kongkidnaps Pauline from right under his nose.

Phone the police? Don’t be silly! Instead, Mariohas to steer a group of Mini Marios through aseries of challenging puzzle-packed levels.

Players draw bridges and create ladders, pushsprings and shift blocks to make a clear path andavoid all the traps and enemies that standbetween the Mini Marios and the next level.

Once they start, they can’t stop, so players willhave to plan their strategies carefully – and makesure no one is left behind. Oh, and just to ratchetup the tension a bit more, all levels have to becompleted against the clock.

Mario Sports Mix offers fourhigh-energy arcade stylegames: Basketball, volleyball,

hockey and dodgeball – all containingsome unexpected twists and turns.

Players can compete as theirown Mii, or as some of Nintendo’smost famous characters, includingMario, Peach, Yoshi and Toad.

The action comes in fast andfrenzied quick fire rounds that getthe adrenaline pumping and thecompetitive spirit flowing.

In each game there are itemsthat will help scupper thecompetition. They can slip on astrategically placed banana skin orbe stunned by a flying green shell.

Each character also has its ownspecial move: Daisy, for instance,fills her opponent’s playing areawith flowers, while Wario throwsyellow ‘bomber shots’.

There are also coins that willboost your score. This means theresult is always in doubt right upuntil the last second.

Mario Sports Mix can be playedin single player mode or by up tofour players – and it’s here, withthe competitive element to thefore, that the fun really cranks up.

Four trophies are up for grabs: theMushroom Cup, the Flower Cup andthe Star Cup. Once they becomechampions, additional stages andcharacters will be unlocked.

Each sport has an associated minigame. Basketball’s bite-sziedoffspring, for instance, is Feed Petey,in which players grab low-hangingfruits from the ceiling and aim themdirectly into the mouth of Petey thepiranha plant, while in Smash Skatethey push other players of a ledgeusing hockey sticks.

Four sports are in the mix, but players will alsofind healthy doses of fun, competition, silliness,stars, tricks and giggles...
