• Ramkrishna Sarda Niketan, a formal school started in

Lepa Punarvas to impart quality education in Apri 2015.

Branches of Ramkrishna Sarda Niketan were opened In

Bhattyan village in April 2016 and in Chhoti Khargone

village in June 2016.

• On 3rd July 2017, Ramkrishna Sarda Niketan, Lepa

became the first digital school based on state

education board syllabus in Madhya Pradesh.

• Students are proving their talents in Music, Sports,

vocational skills and academics as well.

Re-development of the old ashram building – Kindness of

local building material suppliers -

On 25th May 2019, inmates of Narmadalaya had a terrific experience of a storm. G.I. sheets of the roof on the old ashram structure were blown off by this storm. They were reset immediately. The structure included office room, Bharati didi’s room, prayer room, drawing room, dormitory of 60 hostel wards, a small pantry etc. During the rainy season, the hostel inmates and the staff experienced heavy leakage of rain water through the old and damaged GI sheet roof. On non rainy days poisonous snakes like Cobra, Russell’a viper, common krait etc were regular visitors through the gaps of the roof sheets. Walls of this structure had many huge cracks. It was really a great threat to the lives of hostel wards and property. As per the suggestions of civil engineers, the whole structure was demolished. It was rebuilt within 6 months without any CSR Support. The local building material suppliers were kind enough to provide the construction material of this building on long term credit. Till now we are paying the material cost whenever funds are available.

Many many thanks to our donors and well wishers. With their support only we could complete the difficult task of redeveloping the entire old building structure consisting 6600 Sq ft area.

Teacher's Training

Regular teacher’s training is conducted at Ramkrishna Sarda

Niketan. With the help of resource persons from Mumbai, Pune,

Nasik etc, these training camps are regularly organized. So far

Mrs.Rati Bhosekar, Smt. Renu Gavaskar and Ms Kavita Bhagwat-

renowned educationists from Thane and Pune conducted training

specially for pre-primary teachers. Shri Aniruddha Patil conducted

workshops on science in day to day life. Dr. Lalita Deshpande

renowned mathematician conducted training programs for

teachers. Volunteers of Swaroop Wardhini, Pune conducted

maths/science workshops twice during the year for teachers and

students. Ms Bharati Thakur conducted daily training program for

English and Hindi teachers.

All these training programs were well appreciated by

students and teachers.

SportsRegular sports activities are conducted for the students. Our

Students participated in Shivpur and IIM Indore marathon (11

KM) and secured positions in top 10.

Tailoring Unit

NARMADA NIRMITI (Tailoring Unit)

Many women – most of them widows or deserted by husbands

were leading a very sad state of life. To support them

financially and emotionally, we started tailoring unit in 2015.

So far 25 women completed diploma course in tailoring. We

ventured into a small production unit of quilts and ladies

wears. Now it has become a self sufficient unit. We

participate in various exhibitions in Maharashtra. In 2019-20

our turn over was more than 11 lacs approx.

A rural technology centre has been set up in collaboration

With Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. The agreement of

collaboration was signed with their rural technology

department in Apr 2017.

• We have started production of Solar Dryers and so far sold

them in Nagaland, Gujrat and Maharatra Market

• We have also started production of dried onion, kasuri

methi, herbal tea, tomato powder and spinach powder.

• Our fabrication unit has been successful in erection of solar

panel frames and huge shades for Goshala and vehicle

parking.

• This year, all the furniture required for the three formal

schools was made by our senior students.

• We have started making wooden trays out of the scrap left in

furniture making. This new product has received

tremendous response from customers.

The Goshala was donated by Sant Rajgiri Baba to us in 2014

with 6 cows. Presently 27 Nimari breed cows are catering

milk needs of our students.

Hydroponics

Nimar Abhyudaya Rural Management And Development Association (NARMADA) has

always strived to adopt new techniques and technologies for the progress of farmers

of the region. With the same spirit its coordinator Digvijay Singh Chouhan led a three

member team for a training in organic farming at Bodke wadi, Maan Village on the

western outskirts of Pune, Maharashtra. The other members were Shankar kewat and

Sanjeev Namdev During the three days of the extensive training, they learned some

very important practises and techniques for the organic farming. The camp organised

by Mr Dnyaneshwar Bhodke, the founder chairman of the Abhinav Farmers’ Club, has

led special emphasis on utility of Gir cow for farming and need for adopting

hydroponics to provide quality feed for the cattle. Armed with the knowledge, our

team took upon itself the task of improving the Goshala (cowshed ) at our Ashram at

Lepa Purvas. They began adopting the principles of cattle management

techniques. Under Digvijay Singh’s supervision, Shankar Kevat and all students of

Ramkrishna Technical Institute have fabricated the hydroponics structure of the size

10*15*8 to keep 60 trays using one inch squar iron pipes & green net. It was

immediately put to use to grow green feed for the cows. After some initial menace of

rats and rodents, our Goshala team has succeeded in growing maize & wheat grass per

for Ashram’s cows and calves.

Narmadalaya Hostel

Hostel facility is provided to 60 tribal students of most

backward Alirajpur, Khargone and Badwani Districts who live

in very remote areas of the Narmada valley. Education &

lodging- boarding facilities are totally free of cost to these

children.

They are proving their talent in sports, music, dance and

academics.

New Construction

November 2018 brought us a big pleasant surprise. General Insurance

Corporation (GIC Re) granted us funds for construction of the first

and second floor of school building of Ramkrishna Sarda Niketan,

Lepa Punarvas.

The school building was inaugurated on 08 Feb 2020 by Dy Gen

Manager of GIC Re Mr. G. Radhakrishna, Ms. Rani Durve General

Manager of Reserve Bank of India and Ms. Sunanda Bhosekar,

Mumbai.

Narmada Swar Lahri

Narmada Swar Lahri is a musical orchestra of students of

Ramkrishna Sarda Niketan. They are trained by well

known classical singer Mrs. Shubhada Marathe. Our

musical troupe ‘Narmada Swar Lahri’ presented their

programs at Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai, Bharatiya

Vidya Bhavan, Ramkrishna Sarda Math- Pune, Rally for

Rivers- Indore , River Festival- Hoshangabad, Vaidik

Vidya Peetham- Chichot etc so far.

Narmada Jayanti Utsav was celebrated from 31 January to 02 February

2020. Honorable ex Speaker of Loksabha Smt Sumitra Tai Mahajan

inaugurated the program. Smt Kalyani Namjoshi, Pune spoke on River

Culture. Mrs Dhanashri Lele from Thane also spoke on river culture and Sant

Kabeer. Mrs Anagha Chiplunkar, Nasik spoke on Narmada Parikrama and

Bhagvad Geeta. Mr Duttaji Chitale from Pune presented a musical program

of Geet Ramayana. More than 120 devotees of Maa Narmada from

Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh attended the program. Shri Gangadhar

Rao Kelkar of Mumbai and Shri Babasaheb Kavthekar of Dhar were

felicitated during this program. Chaitanya Pariwar, Indore presented a

musical program ‘Geet Martand’ on the life of Pujya Shri Nana Maharaj

Taranekar. Mr Milind Shirgopikar spoke on Narmada pollution.
