CHECK OUT THE FUN AT RECENT PTA SPONSORED EVENTS!!
A NOTE FROM OUR PTA PRESIDENT
Wow, is it February already? We hope everyone has stayed warm and well during January. The Stonewall PTA has another jam-packed month ahead, as we are very busy planning the annual Love for the Arts Night on Thursday, February 15th from 6- 8 pm. Local artists, musicians, and dancers will be located throughout the school, to perform, instruct and provide hands-on expe-riences for our Stonewall families. PTA will be providing $1 pizza meals and families will be able to view and purchase framed student art in the library. To provide these exciting programs, we need as many volunteers as possible. Please contact us at [email protected]. It is a great way to get involved with our school community! Remember – if school is cancelled, due to inclement weather, any PTA evening activity is also cancelled. This follows FCPS policy on after- school activities on days that school has been called off.
Looking forward, we wanted to extend an invitation to all our Stonewall parents/guardians, to consider becoming a PTA officer for the 2018-19 school year. We NEED lots of new faces, new ideas and new energy to keep our organization representative of our school and moving in inno-vative directions. If you’d like to see what we’re all about, please join us for our next monthly on Monday, February 12th @6:30 in the library. Children are always welcome, snacks will be provided and we limit the meetings to one hour. This is a great way to see the many things PTA does for our school!
As always, please let me know if you have questions or concerns. We love all our Stonewall fam-ilies!
