KUKRUSE POLAR MANORKUKRUSE MANOR, TOILA PARISH. OPENING HOURS FOR THE MUSEUM NIGHT: 18–23

The exposition at Kukruse Polar Manor tells two tales through the past of one family. On the one hand, there is the tale of a passion so great that it gives birth to history. On the other hand, there is the tale of how a passionate desire to go down in history can lead to one’s doom. These are the tales of the Von Toll family.

Kukruse is the oldest manor in Ida-Viru County. The finding of oil shale in its park marked the beginning of mining and industrial use this mineral resource in the region.
