NIFT Entrance Form 2021
PRATHAM Notice
PRATHAM will assist students & parents in form filling by providing Form Filling PPT & recordings however the onus & responsibility of filling the form correctly and before the last date of the application lies solely with Student and Parent.
Parents are requested not to share any personal details with any PRATHAM employee to fill the student application forms. If shared PRATHAM will not be held responsible in case of incorrect form filling/ incorrect course/program selected or delay in submission of forms.
All Parents and Students are requested to save a copy of the Application Form filled by them and ensure to save the application User ID and Password in PRATHAM FORM WALLET (add link too) after each form filled.
Students and Parents are requested to track the last date of University applications as they are subject to change.
You are requested to go through the University Bulletin thoroughly before filling any University Application Form.
NIFT-Important information • Before submitting please check the details twice because once the information filled here will not be
changed.
• The confirmation for the registration will be sent on your email entered.
• Kindly note the Email-ID and date of birth as filled by you will be used to login to the website to fill the online application form.
• Prior to making the payment, candidate can edit / amend the information in the online. Once the payment has been made; you will not be allowed to change/modify any information by the system. However, candidates will be given an opportunity to review and correct their personal information (changing the City of Examination is not permitted) in the application form from 25th January 2021 (12:00 hrs) onwards till 28th January, 2021 (16:00 hrs).
• Before starting to fill up the on-line application, keep ready with you the following details / documents / Information :
a) Valid Email ID (the email should be valid for at least 1 year)
b) Personal and Educational qualification details
c) Caste / Tribe/ Class certificate (for SC / ST/ OBC candidates)
d) Disability Certificate (for Persons with Disabilities)
e) Image of scanned photograph in jpg / jpeg format with date of clicking the photograph printed on it at the bottom and size should not exceed 50 KB
f) Image of scanned signature in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50KB
g) Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI details for making online payment

Eligibility Criteria
For Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Programmes (Fashion Design / Leather Design / Accessory Design / Textile Design / Knitwear Design / Fashion Communication) & B.F.Tech : The +2 level examinations in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. Age Limit: Maximum age should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of SC/ST/(PWD) categories.
Selection/Admission Process
B.Des For candidates to the UG Design programmes, the selection process comprises a written examination comprising a
Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT), followed by a situation test to be undertaken by shortlisted candidates of the written examination. The Section wise weightage are: Creative Ability Test (CAT) – 50%, General Ability Test (GAT) – 30% Situation Test–20%. B.FTech For candidates to the UG Fashion Technology programme, the selection process comprises a written examination comprising a General Ability Test (GAT).

Last date for submitting online application 21st January 2021 (Last date 24th Jan for online registration with late fee of Rs.5000/- (in addition to the applicable application fee)

Download/Print Admit Card
On the basis of information given in the NIFT Application Form, Admit Card of provisionally eligible candidates will be available for download from website: https://applyadmission.net/nift2021 from 01st February 2021 (1400 hrs) onwards.
Download Admit Card – On the due date for Admit Card, re-login to the website: https://applyadmission.net/nift2021 A link for downloading Admit Card for written test, containing the details of the center/venue for the examination, etc., will be available.
Print Admit Card - Take a printout of the admit card. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the Written Test Venue without a valid Admit Card.
The admit card for written test will NOT be sent by post or email. Candidates are advised to regularly check NIFT website for updates.
Keep information like Roll number/Registration ID etc. and password safely for future reference.
Admission • To fill the admission form first you need to click on ‘Admission’ tab available at the
top right corner and inside it there is a link provided named as ‘Registration for Admission-2021’.
New Registration • Every candidate who are applying for the NIFT design course they need to
register to the university website.
For new registration
Login to Apply online • Fill in the details with sufficient care as the data entered by you can not be edited in later case and your
candidature would automatically be cancelled leading further to forfeiture of fee.
Recheck twice.

Category Popup window • Which every the caste category you fill in your previous form page accordingly you
will receive the confirmation message in the popup window.

button & popup will disappear.
Email Acknowledgement • Since you have confirmed all the details by accepting there declaration. Now an another
popup will appear on the screen which confirms that you have successfully logged in and acknowledgement has been sent to your email ID.(e.g [email protected])

Steps in filling form • There are in total 4 steps involved to complete this online application form.
• Each step you select and do action the status will be updated accordingly. You can see the tick mark once the action is completed and submitted successfully.

Success Popup • When you save your Application form without any typo or manual errors. You will get a
Popup window on the screen written on it that you have save the data and it is accepted successfully.
It will take you to the home screen
Fill Application Completed • You can see in this screen that Application form which you have save is completed
now and the checkbox is ticked and turned in green color. Similarly all other checkboxes you need to turn into green color to complete this Application form.

Upload Photo & Image • On this page you can see it’s very clearly written the Photo & Image Specifications and some link is also provide for your help. Few
important points are:
There should be date of clicking the photograph printed on it at the bottom.
Photo must be taken at the white background.
The digital version of the photograph & signature are to be uploaded in .JPEG format, with the maximum file size of 50 KB.
Signature must be in Black color and must be written against a white background.
The signature must be scanned. Mobile phone photo of signatures are not accepted.
First choose the save image of photo and signature one after another
from the system and then click to

Success Popup • When you upload your photo and it is accepted successfully then you will receive a popup which confirms that your
photo is uploaded.
• When you upload your Signature and it is accepted successfully then you will receive a popup which confirms that your Signature is uploaded.
Payment Option • Next is to make the payment. You need to confirm weather you want to go for payment, please click yes to proceed.
• When you select yes radio button then they will again ask you to agree their guidelines and affirm the statement made by me.
Payment Option • Now you need to agree for online payment through net banking/ Credit card/
Debit card). Select the radio button and click on ‘Submit’ button.
You must read.
Transaction Reference No. • On this page you will receive the transaction reference number which is very important you should make a
note of it or you can take the screen shot of the page and save it in your system.
• Check the Name, Category and Amount to Pay and then finally press on ‘Make Payment’ button.
Note it down some where for future
reference.
Payment Gateway • Fill in the card detail correctly before proceed to payment.
Some important doc. • Here is the screen shot of the SC/ST doc. If the candidate fall under SC/ST category they need to fill this form and submit
with Cast certificate. It is available on the website main page. Similarly some other documents are also available on the same page.
