• Shadowed VCA University Veterinary Clinic doctors – assisted in office and observed foreign body removal and spay surgeries. Learned about medical procedures and diagnostic methods in veterinary medicine.

• Served as Jamboree staff member - Aviation merit badge counselor for many of

40,000 scouts attending from across the U.S. - National Boy Scout Jamboree. Gained experience in teaching.

• Volunteered at Riverside Hospital (2012-Present): Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Front Desk Assistant; Elderly Care Volunteer; Greeter (120 hours)

• Led Eagle Scout Project (project management and implementation) - directed ten scouts and two adults in redesign and construction of 4’x4’ handicap accessible flower boxes for mentally/physically challenged residents of Northern Virginia Training Center could enjoy flowers/gardening with their wheelchairs fitting under raised flowerbeds.
