Green City Program

Set-Up

• The City and Niagara agree to program goals, costs and terms• Re-payment terms are established for the City’s customers based

upon the amount of supplemental funding the city may or may not provide

Specifying Niagara’s Stealth®

• Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District:

– Issued RFP for “Stealth Toilet Install Program”

– Specified toilets with “a maximum usage of less than one gallon per flush.”

• CalWater: RFP specified a single flush 0.8 to 1.0 GPF

• The town of Windsor issued an RFP specifying toilets rated at less than 1.0 GPF

• Niagara submits a detailed program proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, procedures, timeline and costs

• Meeting with Niagara finance partners to discuss financial details

• Program can be self or partially financed

• Customer billing can be executed with on the water bill or by Niagara’s Smart Pay*

• Program kick-off meeting and conservation efforts begin!

*Niagara’s billing system increase the monthly charge by $2.50 per month and other conditions apply.
