Next Generation Controller

ASC Signal is a global manufacturer of satellite earth station antenna products for broadcast,

government, military, and enterprise satellite communication applications. The Next

Generation Controller (NGC) provides antenna pointing and tracking operation for

transportable and large fixed antennas through Ka-band operating on stationary and inclined

orbit satellites, as well as functions, such as environmental system control , built-in spectrum

analyzer, uplink power control, and redundancy control.

The NGC training program covers in depth all topics needed for all levels of system

personnel, whether they monitor, use, administer, configure, or install NGC systems. The

courses and certifications are delivered as integral parts of the GVF Training and Certification

Program.

Learn how to navigate the touch screen panel

to access faults, view diagnostic screens, and

completely configure your system.

Learn tracking basics, how to determine if the NGC system is tracking properly, and how to configure the system for your target satellites.

NGC Training Program

SUMMARY: Factory-authorized training, beginning with basic skills for personnel who simply monitor the system, all the way

through the detailed knowledge and skills required for full installation and configuration of the NGC system on mobile and large

motorized earth station antennas. Specific NGC information is covered in detail, and fundamental satcom theory is explained as it

relates to the NGG system operation and configuration. Animation and simulator-based interactivity are used extensively to explain

concepts and provide realistic skills practice and skills assessments.

Certification system, including:

REFERENCE MATERIALS INCLUDED: Each course includes manuals and reference documents which students may download and
