Process Owner Responsibilities
Individual(s) responsible for the implementation of process changes
Can be (but does not have to be) Project Sponsor or Black Belt
Works with Project Sponsor to develop project charter
Must commit to active support as full time or part time team member – no surprises!

Collects, monitors and reports benefits

Helps to determine financial and operational benefits of the project

Provides leadership and guidance for CPI implementation

The Roles of Change
Process Owners/Project Sponsors:– The individual or group who has the power to
sanction or legitimize change
– Responsible for creating an environment that enables the necessary changes to be made on time and within budget
Change Agents:– The individuals or groups who are responsible
for actually making the change
– Understand and diagnose the problem, develop a plan to address the problem and execute the change effectively (Green Belts, Black Belts, and Team Members)
