We are entrepreneurs, developers, andtechnologists, banded together to build greatso5ware that change how enterprises dobusiness.

We are focused on developing applica9ons andservices for cloud pla:orms that leverage on-demand deployment models to provide elas9ccapacity based on need.

    CORE PRINCIPLES

Innovation Not just build new technology, but new andinnovative use of technology.

SimplicitySoftware can be complex but usage of it shouldnot be. Develop simple ways of software usagedeployment,

    management, and maintenance.

Extensibility Build software that is hardware and platformagnostic so it can grow as demand and usage grows.

Open-Source The wisdom is to know what 10, 20, 30% atmost do we invent and what should we use thats already outthere. Steve Jobs (WWDC 1997). We are focused on the10-30%.

Signed an agreement with SK Broadband to developcloud storage, delivery, and encoding platforms on theirinfrastructure.(SKs platform now handles more than100,000 requests/sec housing more than 500TB of datain HDFS).

Successfully applied and won a government project tobuild a nationally approved Giga Internet system in

cooperation with LG U+. Built a VM based encoding andstreaming systems.

In alignment with our core principles we are maniacallyfocused on the following

    1. Enterprise Applica9onsBuilding applica9ons that areuseful and protable for enterprises.[We currently have built applications thatare now generating over KRW 3,000,000,000for our partners.] !

    2. Elas9c Deployment ModelWhenever possible, use the

elas9c, cloud deployment model.[Our applications live not only on privatehosting environments but we are working

with public cloud platform providers todeploy our solutions] .

    3. Open SourceLeverage the open source community butcustomize to make the applica9ons enterprise grade.[Our team of developers are some of the

most knowledgeable and experienced opensource developers in Korea.] !

    ELASTIC DEPLOYMENTMODEL

    *UFSUniversal File System**SRMSmart Rou9ng Manager

Cloud computing is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demandnetwork access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g.,

networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can berapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or serviceprovider interaction. NIST Special Publication 800-145 !

    Support

Each applica9on is packaged with a deployment framework that allows it to be pre-congured for automa9c deployment based on custom trigger se ngs (traffic, CPU,memory, etc). This automated deployment model allows our applica9ons to be deployedin mul9ple pla:orms (public cloud, private infrastructure, service provider).

    OPEN SOURCE EXPERTISE

Over the years we accumulated working-level experience on a variety of opensource applica9ons. In addi9on, we gained incredible insight by seeing ourapplica9ons in produc9on environments in different enterprise networks. Thefollowing are a few of the open source projects and applica9ons we have deepfamiliarity with.

    MARKET&GROWTHDRIVERS

We are a Korean company with Western rootswith an eye on the global market. This unique mixprovides us the ability to

    1. Be er understand the so5ware innova9ons

coming out of the US2. Have a clearer view of the so5ware market

    and trends in APAC

Giving us a broader understanding of how tobridge the above two to truly launch applica9onsand services the global community needs.

    M ARKET DRIVERS

The market drivers for open source in APAC are no different than they are in therest of the world. Actually, in some emerging countries, open source is morea rac9ve due to its lower cost basis, giving IT budgets more purchasing power.

Specically in Korea, the government has thrown its full support for growing the opensource market. Various projects, learning centers, and legisla9ons are being dra5ed andfunded to promote growth in open source and overall so5ware development.
