Descriptionof the crash:

“The exit of turn 14 at Portimão circuit is flat out in 2nd gear, about 135/140 km / h (this was the speed of the crash, collected by telemetry data). As I exited the turn, my body hanging off to the inside of the curve I lost the front wheel in a low side due to some irregularities on the tarmac.The typical slide on the track was clearly what followed, with several rolls on the tarmac until stopping in the gravel trap.During the slide the helmet was dragging on the tarmac, especially the visor, which did not snap or crack. Only a small part of the visor mechanism broke and the pinlock came loose because the support for it and for the tear off broke / wore out on one of the sides.In my head - Nothing serious, not even an headache!! For the impact it was, still before taking the helmet, I hoped it would be "cracked"! But, in fact, it wasn’t!Thank you NEXX for protecting me! LIFE savers !! ;)”

The Ergo Padding System, a foam replacement kit that allows the rider to personalize the helmet according to its head shape.

The combination of Easy Flow channels in the EPS liner along the ventilation system ensure that fresh air is channeled and distributed efficiently around the head.

ERGO PADDING SYSTEM

The X-Matrix technology, is a process that combines multiaxial fiberglass, 3D organic fibers, special aramid fibers and carbon reinforcement. The result is a super strong and lightweight shell, 35% stronger for extension and bending resistance than normal fiberglass.

Block´n´Seal system with its automatic closure Spring button ensures smooth and waterproof seal every time you close the helmet Visor.

ACTION CAMERA SUPPORT

CCP CHIN CRASH PROTECTION

The Action Camera Support was developed for a stable carrying method. This innovative and modular piece allows the action camera recording at great angles and restricts it from swinging awkwardly.

A unique and innovative system in the market which disperses the energy of impact away from chin and through the shell. This energy dispersal system uses a combination of rubberized materials and a mechanism which separates it self from the helmet at apre-determined level of impact.

EMERGENCY STRAP

Emergency System to remove Cheek Pads in case of accident, will allow that the helmet can be removed minimizing the risk of increasing creating an injuries to the user.

RECOIL VISOR SYSTEM

The Recoil Visor System with its spring-loaded base plates auto-adjusts and pull the shield back against the dual-lip window beading.

The X-SWIFT Quick release visor mechanism makes changing visors extremely quick and simple (change in less than 8 seconds) without the need of any tool.
