BAPTISMS Congratulations to Avery Joyce Anderson, daughter
of Jeffrey Anderson and Jessica Hanley, who received
new life through the waters of baptism today!. Wel-
come sweet little one, to the body of the Body of
Christ!

Mercy for May is “Feed the hungry” Consider: Support the Mission of
Mary cooperative by purchasing a share of their
CSA or making a donation
Our featured Spiritual Work of Mercy for April
is “Bear wrongs patiently.”
Consider: Pray for those that you feel might
have wronged you. Ask that your heart will be
opened to the pain they might be feeling.
Our Colossians virtue is Patience: Love that is
willing to endure life’s suffering, difficulties, and
routine.
Scripture: Be still before the LORD and wait pa-
tiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who
prospers in his way, over the man who carries out
evil devices! Psalms 37:7

THANK YOU A special thanks to Fr. Dave for his visits and
Blessings during my hospitalizations and surgeries follow-
ing my surgery accident and facial burns. For the caring
and special prayers I have been blessed with by my St.
Helen parish family and dear friends, including the Shawl
Ladies (for my lovely shawl), the Saint Vincent DePaul
Members, the Second Grade Religious Education Class,
and the St. Helen School children I sincerely thank each
and every one of you from the bottom of my
heart. Knowing that I have been in your prayers through-
out this stressful time of healing and recovery has only in-
tensified my faith in God and the power of prayer. Pam

collects the money for the game. The dealer declares the
high hand and the pick-up person will pay the winner. If
this games sounds interesting to you or you would like to
learn more, we will teach you. All help is welcome. No
experience is necessary. I have jobs for pre-teens and up!!

THE FESTIVAL BASKET BOOTH
NEEDS YOUR HELP! We are currently creating baskets and would
greatly appreciate any donations you are willing to
give. You can create your own basket or let us do it for
you. Although each basket is supposed to be worth at
least $200 we will combine any size donation with others,
so no donation is too small. Maybe you are part of a
group that would like to join together to make a basket. If
you’d like to create your own basket, we have information
regarding what baskets have done well in the past. Please
contact Elizabeth Gosser (937-231-1298) or Kim Braun
(937-470-8220) if you have any questions. Donations can
be dropped off at the Rectory, the School Office, or the
Credit Union. Thank you!
