  • Newspaper Advertising.

    A Destination, not a Distraction

  • The Power of Newspapers

The power of journalism we produce informs, binds and safeguards our Lake Havasu City community and democracy

    itself.

We’re the marketing power that keeps local cash registers ringing even in the e-commerce era. And we offer a powerful

reach and engagement of our audiences as they continue to refer to us as “my newspaper,” in world in which no one says

    “My Google” or “my Amazon.”

Join this discussion of the importance of a neighborhood-focused community

newspaper as we compose, manufacture and hand-deliver to a paid audience daily

comprised of Lake Havasu City households. We’re the first place our readers turn to

when they want to know what’s going on in vibrant, growing community called Lake

    Havasu City.

We have products that reach from ages 16-90, and are able to reach the right audience

with the right platform for you to gain new customers. We tailor our publishing efforts

to the full-time and winter resident, plus the seasonal visitor marketplaces. Let us show

you the value of our reader and ways to reach them!

  • TODAY’S NEWS-HERALD

No other advertising vehicle has the reach of newspapers. Your best prospects are daily newspaper readers.

Demographically, our print audience is above the market average in terms of income, education, home ownership and

being employed full time. People who are typically labeled “more upscale” – meaning higher income, higher education,

professional/managerial occupations – all count themselves as newspaper readers.

Our editorial environment adds more credibility and legitimacy to your brand. To readers, the advertising in newspaper

advertising is a valuable commodity to them.

Newspapers have value to our readers. They pay to get their newspaper delivered to their home every day. We’re invited

into their homes, and so can you be!

    Today’s News-Herald’s Paid Audience:

    • Median age of a person reading a daily print newspaper is 57.9

    • 69.2% are between the ages of 35-54

    • 47.1% are between the ages of 55-64

  • HAVASUNEWS.COM

We have a long-lasting relationship with our readers. The content we provide is unique, expensive to create, and we only

cater to the local niche Havasu market. You’d be hard pressed to find our high-quality journalism published on a “frequent

    basis” anywhere else.

Our paywall was utilized last year to ensure that we were not giving our valuable content for free. Havasunews.com

continues to have the most traffic of any local website with more than 1,700,00 page views and 238,000 total visitors each

    month!

While younger than print readers, online users are even more upscale consumers in the market for a wide variety of goods

and services. Adults under age 50 comprise nearly 70% of our online audience.

    TODAY’S NEWS-HERALD

The Number #1 Source for news and advertising in Lake Havasu City!

Today’s News-Herald is a paid daily audited circulation newspaper. We are proud to be audited by an industry recognized authority that national

advertisers and agencies rely on for accurate circulation figures.

We offer a deep calendar of daily editorial perspectives written by our staff and nationally-syndicated political columnists, national news and sports, and

more importantly, we cover local community news, weather, sports and events. It’s crucial for our readers to be informed about both the good and bad

things that affect our community, because we will keep you up-to-date on public safety issues, new attractions, upcoming elections, changes in local

policy, and news businesses before they even begin construction. We’re in the know.

After all, early 90 percent of Americans say they prefer to get their news straight from a reliable source such as a newspaper rather than hearing it from

friends online or through other sources. Newer media come and go, but the format of newspapers has held strong throughout the decades thanks to the

unbeatable nature for capturing the spirit of a community. In addition to the coverage of local government education, local business openings and High School sports, community papers give local readers exactly what they want: Information on what’s going on in their immediate surroundings, which is

information that’s not as easy to come by on the internet. Local print newspapers are still the go-to source for quality community news.

In a word, audience. No other media has such a diverse and loyal engaged audience.

  • We’re hand-delivered to over 10,000 paid households five days a week and publish a digital version seven days a week! That amounts to over 22,000 daily

readers. We’re also prominently displayed on local newsstands including CVS, Bashas, Smiths, Albertson’s, Food City, Safeway to name a few.

The value of our reader to you as a business is a targeted and engaged audience with newspaper content – in print or on digital platforms – that can

    afford your product or services.
