NEW! RPS EVENT

Sunday 10 June 2018

New! The RPS (Royal Photographic Society) South Wales Region has announced its first event for 2018 which will be held

on Sunday 10 June 2018. Joan Blease MPAGB, FBPE, EFIAP/b is a Photographer & Digital Artist who will give us an insight to her remarkable world.

"Joan has an artist’s eye and has loved drawing and painting for as long as she can remember. In 2007 she bought her first SLR camera and a copy of Photoshop, then set about learning them both.

Joan quickly became known for blurring the boundaries of where painting and photography meet. Lots of her images have a definite “painterly” feel, and she has gained many awards (including Gold medals and Best of Show) in Exhibitions and Competitions both in the UK and Internationally.

Her workshops sell out quickly and her on-line tutorials are also very popular – both encouraging people to push their own personal boundaries, just as she has done."

Her website can be viewed at https://joanbleasephotography.com/

This will be a three hour presentation with a 15 minute break for refreshments. Joan is also a Permajet Sponsor/Presenter and Permajet are providing Raffle Prize/s for the day.

Also 2:00pm to 4:00pm is “Les Loosemore” ARPS-DPAGB-AWPF with a New Presentation. Further details to follow.

Refreshments & Biscuits are FREE. RPS & non-RPS members please bring your own lunch.

It is being held at Talbot Green Community Centre, 93 Clos Springfield, Talbot Green, Pontyclun CF72 8FE. Opens at 9:30am to start at 10:00am.

ADMISSION is £8 RPS Members £10 non-members (non-members welcome). IPlease contact me for further information.

Thank you.
