Learning exchange Cooperative Education and Works of Cooperative Education the best contest Awards Project.

Assistant Professor Paisal Burinwatthana, President of RUS, presided over the opening of learning exchange Cooperative Education and Works of Cooperative Education the best contest Awards Project, given Trophy of honor for Cooperative Education officer in Academy, establishment operation of the best Cooperative Education and given Works of Cooperative Education the best contest Awards, 16 works, On January 30th, 2017 at Huntra Hall, 10th floor, of the Information Technology Building, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Campus, RUS.

Asst.Prof. Sahaipol Meechunuke Vice President, presided over the opening ceremony of physical activities every Wednesday by doing an aerobic dance to respond the government campaign. The campaign demands the officials to exercise every Wednesday for encouraging them to keep fit, decrease the risk of disease and increase an efficiency of work. The event was held on March 1st, 2017, at RUS Sports Centre Building, Phra Nakorn Si Ayutthaya, Huntra Campus, RUS.

Prof. Opa Yingheng and Miss. Naraya Sirapanuwat ,Thai coordinator, who will provide sponsorship for students joining the project “Lions Clubs International Denmark Youth Camp and Exchange 2017” in Denmark and to discuss a Memorandum of Understanding between faculty and company in Denmark for the purpose of cooperative education internship program or co-operative education project on 27th January, 2017 in the Faculty of Liberal Arts.

FOOD TECH Club, Agricultural Volunteer of RUS (Huntra), made a project “Volunteer of FOOD TECH and RUS camp for academic year 2016”. The aim of the project was to raise students’ awareness about the volunteer spirit including offering help for community, practicing the working skills with the others, and spending their free time in a productive way. This project was administrated by Assistant Professor Phakwan Thongrug, Assistant to the Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Agro-Industry and it was hold on February 24th – 26th 2017 at Naresuan Pa La-u Border Patrol Police School, Huai Sat Yai, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Assistant Professor Suwit Wongyuen, RUS Vice-President, made a speech at the opening ceremony of Basic Power Maintenance Training. Staff members of General Affairs Divisions from four RUS campuses attended the training that stresses the importance of safety maintenance that helps prevent work-related injuries, loss of property and life.

The RUS lecturers and students, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Agro-Industry joined the traditional Thai dessert cooking activity such as Kanom Jamongkut, Knom Sanejan, and Kanom Thong Ek. This was the second activity of The Traditional Food Development Project in the North Central Province 1 towards International Level. The aims of the project were to encourage people to preserve Thai cooking methods, to strengthen an intelligence of locality, and to promote the philosophy of sufficiency economy. This event was held by Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province on February 17-18, 2017 at Luang Pu Thuad Phuttautthayanmaharat, Banmai subdistric, Maharaj distric, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.

Agricultural Volunteer International Level

The RUS Student Union and the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Agro-Industry carried out a project called “Agricultural Volunteer.” The aim of the project was to elevate the students to become a qualified graduate with the value commended by the university – being mindful of the welfare of the public. In the event, the students collaborated on this project by renovating the mushroom farm, making vegetable plots, having the school premise cleaned as well as donating sports equipment and school supplies to the school. In this regard, Dr. Theerapas Sinlapasomboon, Lecturer in Plant Science, supervised the students participating in this project at Wat Thepmongkol, Thepmongkol, Bang Sai district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya on March 22, 2017.

Asst.Prof. Paisal Burinwatthana, the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, and Mr. Patthanapong Wonwilai, Director of Policy and Planning Division, followed up report on investment on the first annual budget fiscal year 2015-2017 to be worth the investment on Tuesday 18th April 2017 at Fai Kham meeting room, Building 2, Faculty of Business Administration and Information Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Suphanburi Campus.

Assistant Professor Tosporn Namhong and Ms. Sanae Buasanit, together with students majoring Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Agro-Industry, Rajamagala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi participated in the goat milk processing activity at the 14th Thai National Goat Fair on April 2nd 2017 at Pathumthani Provincial Livestock Office.

Two RUS experts in organic fertilizers – Asst. Prof. Chaweewan Boonreung and Ajarn Arunee Khongsorn – taught, trained and gave some tips about making easy fertilizers at Home-made Organic Fertilizer Training Class 1, 2 and 3, which ran from May 24 to 26, 2017. Also making a short visit to see the training, and talk to the participants early on was Chief Executive of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Mrs. Somsong Pan-ja-roen-worakul, who generously backed the entire project.

Student Internship Program: (Work and Travel USA 2017)

Asst. Prof. Acting Capt. Thanu Thodthankun, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, together with Vice Deans and the faculty members in the Department of Languages addressed the students as they leave for the US to participate in the international internship program (Work & Travel USA) this year. There are seven students who will be working as an intern at different US organizations, namely Mr. Jeerasak Kaitam, Miss Thanyaporn Orphet, Miss Piyaporn Poonpipat, Miss Kamonwan Kanchoey, Miss Supatavadee Chanwong, Miss Rosesarine Thongarb, and Miss Duangkamol Komoljinda. They are English for International Communication major students. The internship program is between May and August 2017.

The Project English for Communication Skills Development for Support Personnel, Faculty of Industrial Education

Faculty of Industrial Education, RUS launched the project of English for Communication Skills Development Project for Support Personnel, Faculty of Industrial Education presided by Asst.Prof. Decha Phonsen, Dean of Faculty of Industrial Education to develop knowledge and skills in English focusing on operational communication for staff of Industrial Education Support. The project was honored by Ms. Nattinun Sealim, the lecturer of Nakhon International City School as a lecturer at Pailin Conference Room. Ass.Prof.Pramuk Unahalekhaka, Ph.D., Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, RUS was the faculty representative to receive TS Power Press 80 Ton machine from Thai Summit Pattana Foundation on May 9, 2017 at Thai Summit Tower, Thai Summit Group. The aim is to support the Department of Tool and Die Engineering in teaching and learning.

Asst. Prof. Amnart Sinlawat, Ph.D., Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Agro-Industry, delivered an opening remark in the design of classroom, laboratory room, and farm’s standards. In addition, lecturers and staffs in the other departments were in group to design the standard of classroom, laboratory room, and farm. The workshop was held from 8th to 9th May 2017 at the conference room 237, Building 2, 3rd floor, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Phranakorn Si Ayutthaya, Huntra Campus.
