ManuFacturing SPotlight Inside Sunrider’s Cosmetics & Skin Care ProductionOur manufacturing facilities house the most advanced pharmaceutical-grade machinery specially customized for our products. Here are some key areas in our skin care and color cosmetics production:

Hair & Skin Care Development After painstaking safety evaluations, efficacy testing, and review and approval by Drs. Chen, ingredients are formulated into creams, lotions, soaps, shampoos, and more.

Product Stability Testing Products are subjected to high heat and both high and low humidity conditions to accelerate aging so we can determine shelf lives and safe “use by” dates.

Color Product Development Mrs. Chen insists on keeping Kandesn® products on the cutting edge of fashion and color—and there is no shortage of it here! With over 150 colorants currently in use in Sunrider® products and hundreds more available, we can develop a nearly infinite range of new shades.

Kandesn® Lip Color Production The lipstick base and color pigments are blended and heated in steam-jacketed kettles. Then, they go into pouring tanks where they are constantly mixed and kept at a precise temperature. The liquid lip color is then poured into pre-heated molds and cooled.

Powder Mixing & Pressing This is where our eyeshadows, blushes, and powders are made. Mixers and pulverizers grind and mix materials into powders, and then the powder is pressed into its final form. Later, it’s vacuumed and inspected to ensure its appearance and net weight are correct before packaging.

Because we control the development, synthesis, and distribution of our products from “A to Z,” you can rest assured they are safe and healthy!
