Anglican Parish Xmas Fair
The Anglican Parish Community Xmas Fair will occur on
Saturday morning 2nd December. It will again incorporate
an art show. This year’s theme is: Faces of Australia. Once
again we will have a number of students performing in
dance and drama routines. A selection of arts works from
the students at Tarro will be on display at the parish from
1st-3rd December.
Hall news
The hall arrived a couple of weeks ago and the contractors
have been busy making sure that everything is in place and
in working order before we are allowed access to it.
Hopefully before the end of the term, each class will get the
opportunity to something in the hall.
The canteen will not be in operation in week
10. We are hoping that this is the week that we can move
the equipment from the existing canteen, over to the new
canteen in the hall. Students will not be able to order the
lunch or recess from the canteen in week 10.
The next P&C Meeting is on
Monday 4th December 3.15pm in
the library. On the agenda will be
final organisation for Christmas
Capers. It would be great to see
you there.
Christmas Capers—date change
THE DATE FOR CHRISTMAS CAPERS HAS CHANGED TO THURSDAY
14TH DECEMBER. It promises to be a wonderful evening and a
great way to celebrate the end of the year. We would love
for people to nominate themselves to help out on either the
BBQ, cake stall or selling raffle tickets. An information note
will be sent home later in the term regarding times and
activities and calling for nominations to help out.
Cake Stall—Christmas Capers Night
It would be appreciated if you could help with donations of
cakes for our cake stall on Christmas Capers night.
Please drop donations into the office or canteen ON THE
DAY. Please include a list of ingredients used in the item.

CHRISTMAS RECIPE
Little Cookie Houses
These little cookie house are a simplified version of a gingerbread house that kids will love to make and eat.
Ingredients
2 cups (300g) icing sugar
2 tbs milk
1 pkt (250g) Arnotts Nice biscuits
Method
Sift icing sugar into a large bowl. Add a little milk at a time and stir until you have a thick paste like icing.
Spread a little icing onto one biscuit and top with another to form the base of the house. Spread icing on this top biscuit as well. Repeat to make 6 bases.
Spread some more icing along the edge of one biscuit and press against another to create a V shape roof. Place this upside down onto a base, using icing to adhere. Repeat to make 6 houses.
Decorate the houses with lollies using icing to stick them to the roof and base.
