MISSION

The mission of the Sodality is to impart a Christian way of life which will foster apostles of the Church and to promote devotion and prayers to Our Blessed Moth-er through daily reci-tation of the rosary, weekly novenas and spiritual retreats.

Prefect—Desiree Graves It is my honor and blessing to be Sodality Prefect. I love The Blessed Virgin Mary, her son Jesus & each of you. Until I came to

St. Joseph's, I didn't know what was missing in my life. I had not gotten the same insights from St. Gabriel, Nativity nor any of the Military Catholic Churches I previously attended. My life has been uplifted since becoming an active member of St. Joseph's. The warmth, friendship, spirituality and companionship has brought to me desire and inspiration to grow even closer to God and to all of you. The most important thing I can tell you about me is God's love for me. He, His Mother, and my Guardian Angel are still bringing me through ... 2 heart attacks; a mini-stroke; a fall which resulted in a broken hip in 3 places; another fall which broke my wrist in 6 places; loss of eyesight in right eye; almost total loss of hearing in right ear; and vascular problems with my legs ... and still I rise thru God's Will. God has blessed me through it all and has rewarded me with the greatest blessing of all - to be our Sodality's Prefect. I pray that I prove to be worthy of such an honor.

God our Father, the birth of your Son Jesus Christ brought great joy to Mary and

Joseph. We give thanks to you for the Sodalists whose birthdays we celebrate this

quarter. May they ever grow in your faith, hope, and love. We ask this in the name of our

Lord Jesus Christ

Installation of New Officers (June 5, 2016) Father Campbell installed Lady of Grace Sodality officers 2016 -2018, during the Mass

Barbara Bechet passed the gavel to the new Prefect, Desiree Graves.

New Vice-Prefect, Janette Bell accepted the Constitution from Althea Holland

Delores Missouri (representing Agnes Bell) presented the Book of Minutes to Stephanie

White as the new Recording Secretary.

Dorothy Newman gave the Financial Reports to the new Financial Secretary,

Sheila Davis.

Sandra James retained the checkbook and the position of Sodality Treasurer.

We congratulate and support these officers in their roles.

Dresses for Little Girls:

Members sorted, folded and counted 196 dresses. The dresses were blessed and delivered to the Sodality Union to be distributed as promised. We are truly blessed by all those who generously brought, bought, made or gave money for the dresses

to support the project “Dresses for Little Girls”.
