YMCA MEGATHON

Earlier this spring we sponsored Arash Bahrami’s participation in the YMCA Megathon for swimming.

In support of the Strong Kids Campaign, the YMCA Megathon reaches out to children, teens, and families to subsidize the cost of participating in healthy programs and activities.

Exceeding the goal of raising $150,000, the Megathon raised $193,314, which means that 474 children across the GTA will have year-long access to the YMCA’s programs and facilities.

This summer we are once again supporting the BCG Logistics Group Charity Golf Tournament at the Brantford Golf & Country Club.

This annual event supports the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation (BCHSF). BCHSF is committed to transforming community healthcare by focusing on digital technology and state-of-the-art facilities.

1) Visualize your reader: Eliminate the chance of misunderstanding by the recipient by remembering

that they can’t see or hear you.

2) Use short chunks of text. Huge blocks of text can cause a reader to lose interest or skip over important

details.

3) Add headings, lists, numbers, and bullet points to make your e-mail easier to read.

4) Stick to one key message per e-mail.

5) Always include your signature block or contact details.

Meet the TeamOur people make the difference

As the newest member of our team, Arif Khan brings

a rich background in technology, business analysis,

and sales support to System Architects. After

working with Shoppers Drug Mart, Sears Canada,

and Grand & Toy, Arif is settling into his new role as

Technical Sales Specialist at the Toronto

headquarters.

Arif prides himself on delivering thoughtful and

strategic solutions that contribute to our customer's

success. When asked what he likes about working at

System Architects he said that,"a personable team"

and "the chance to work with a growing company"

makes System Architects a great place to apply his

expertise.

In his leisure time Arif is involved in his local

community coaching a children's soccer team and

delivering hot meals to those in need for Meals on

Wheels.

Arif holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in

Business Technology Management from Ryerson

University and an Advanced Diploma in Business

Information Systems from Seneca College of

Applied Arts and Technology. He received the

Information Technology Achievement Award in

2003.
