K-2 Assembly will begin at 9:30 am followed by morning tea. Y3-6 will begin at 11:30 followed by a BBQ lunch. We will be entertained and delighted with performances from both bands, choir and class items. Year 6 Farewell A fun and family-filled night was enjoyed by all. Thank you Mrs Menzies. Mrs Maruszak, Mrs Gilman, Mrs Groves and their respecve teams for their organisaon and decoraon experse. Our students connued to show what a ght, supporve group they are and how they definitely know how to have fun. Outstanding fees My last request (nag) to please honour outstanding financial commitments so we can have an accurate posion to budget for next year. This may be outstanding CAMP and/or BAND fees. Lost Property

The lost property box is again overflowing with unclaimed belongings. Lost property was sorted out today and any items with names have been returned to their owners. There are still many assorted items without names. If your child has lost some property they may check the lost property box at recess or lunch time. Alternatively any families attending Presentation Day tomorrow can check at the office for missing belongings.

End of Year Fun Days All classes will be involved in special end of year fun days next week. Permission notes and money for Years 3-6 should be returned tomorrow, Friday 14th December.

FOOTWEAR FOR 2019 When selecting new shoes for 2019 we ask families to support our Uniform Policy by purchasing black school shoes or secure, supportive black joggers. Dunlop volley sandshoes, multi coloured slip on canvas shoes or skate shoes are unsuitable for PE lessons, sport, sport team training and playground activities which involve running.

The following are the requisites for all students in Years 3 - 6. More specific lists may be sent out by your child’s teacher during term 1. Please label all items. Small size pencil case only A quality rigid 30 cm ruler marked with millimetres (not inches), (not flexible or metal), preferably with an “0”at the beginning of the ruler. 4 x large glue sticks (Bostick - not DATS or runny glue) 6 x HB pencils - good quality that can be sharpened easily, brands such as Staedtler or Columbia Set of coloured pencils (pack of 12 suggested) 1 x eraser 1 x library bag Sharpener - barrel type which contains the shavings is best Pair of scissors 2 boxes of tissues Years 5 - 6 only (additional) * 2 x blue pens * 2 x red pens

PRESENTATION DAY CEREMONIES

K-2 PRESENTATION CEREMONY 9.30 am – 11.00 am - individual certificates to all students - children will perform Christmas songs - Junior Band performance

YEAR 3-6 PRESENTATION CEREMONY 11.30 am - 1.00 pm - Senior Band and Choir performances - five class awards per class - major awards - sports awards - announcement of School Captains and Student Councillors for 2019

Students are expected to wear full school uniform for this day. Families and guests are invited to purchase morning tea from the canteen. A barbecue will be available for families to purchase their lunch (no pre-ordering required) or

families may order lunch from the normal canteen menu Seating for families and guests will be provided, in the hall/undercover area. Students are expected to remain at school after the presentation time. There will be regular

class time in the afternoon with normal 3.05 pm dismissal time.

VITAL Tutor Morning Tea

We welcomed our VITAL tutors back to school for the final time in 2018 for a morning tea. This was an opportunity for us to thank the tutors for the wonderful work they do throughout the year in supporting our students. Our sincere thanks to Mrs Jenny Tinsley, Mrs Jenny Downing, Mr Warwick Levy and Mrs Baker-Hunt. Each tutor was presented with a certificate of thanks from the students they have worked with.
