VALUE OF THE WEEK - “Co-operation”
Let’s work together in harmony, happiness and be productive.
2018 FOUNDATION AND NEW ENROLMENTS
Due to the high level of interest, our school is currently accepting enrolments for the 2018 School Year.
Early enrolment GUARANTEES placement. At present our school has 23 Foundation enrolments for
2018.
TERM 2—FINAL ASSEMBLY
Our final assembly for Term 2 will be conducted on Friday 30th June commencing at 1pm and concluding at
1:30pm. We encourage all parents, friends and relations to attend, as we will be showcasing some talented
students.
SCHOOL REPORTS
All uncollected school reports are available at our School Office for collection.
SCHOOL BANKING
Tomorrow is our next School Banking Day.
GRADE 6 SCHOLARSHIPS - 2017
Our school has 25 graduating Grade 6 students in 2017. We are now seeking a graduation scholarship for
each child. If any individual, family, company and/or organisation could kindly sponsor a scholarship, we
would be extremely grateful. The scholarship is to the value of $50 and goes directly towards the students’
first year of Secondary education. All scholarships will be presented at our end of year concert. If you have
any
questions, please contact Mr Peach. There are only 7 scholarships remaining.
TIQBIZ - is now FLEXIBUZZ
Attached to the newsletter is the instruction using and downloading on Felxibuzz. We will be using this along
with email to send out the newsletter from Term 3. This free app is used by the school for most
communication for your child’s class. Should you have any queries, please see your child’s teacher.
LOST PROPERTY
Could all parents, students and staff please check our School’s “Lost Property” basket (located in our First
Aid Room). The basket is overflowing and each item must have an owner. All left/unclaimed school
uniforms after the last day of term, will be cleaned and put into our Second Hand Uniform Store. We will
have all lost property displayed in the Senior Building at the final assembly.

CHRISTMAS IN WINTER
We held our Xmas in Winter on Sunday at Donegan’s Farm in Gordon. Thank you to the Fundraising
Committee for putting the day together. Feedback has been quite good, with a few teething issues, but
overall everyone seemed to enjoy the day. Thank you to everyone who attended to make the day an
enjoyable one and a special thank you to the wonderful singers who entertained us - Rebecca Peel, Mrs
Sanders, Mrs Burquest and Elly.
HOLIDAYS
I would like to wish all students, staff, parents and school families a very restful, enjoyable and safe
holiday. Term 2 has been an 11 week term, full of wonderful highlights, achievements and events. I
look forward to seeing everyone in Term 3, rested, refreshed and ready for another exciting term.

TREE PLANTING WITH FRIENDS OF WERRIBEE GORGE AND
LONG FOREST MALLEE GROUP
Last Friday, the Grade 5 and 6 students planted 392 trees at
Werribee Gorge. After we planted the trees we went for a short
walk along the Gorge before eating a free lunch. It was an
awesome day! A special thanks to Mr. Crilly for organising the
day and to Emma Muir for cooking the sausages and spoiling us
with a special treat.
