WHALES

On Wednesday the 22nd July the school was alerted to the fact that four whales were close by. This was an opportunity too good to miss. Students and teachers walked to the beach to see these magnificent creatures in our own back yard! The whales had moved on a bit but we were still able to see them in the distance. When we returned to school some of our students wrote about seeing the whales. Here is an example of the outdoor classroom at its very best! How lucky are we to be at a school so close to the ocean! Work sample from Sibella in Ms. Kwong class.
