COMMUNITY EVENTS CHRONICLE JANUARY 2014

December was a fun month with a “Light Tour” of the Quispamsis area, a Christmas Tea, Christmas Party with Santa and lots of Christmas music from various groups visiting the centre. We also had our challenges, in the middle of our Christmas Party we lost power but our generator kicked in. Without full power our elevator was out of commission and the KV residents had to be taken back to their neighborhood by bus. It didn’t put a damper on the

festivities!!

Recently, Jordan Munn, from Kennebecasis Valley High School, contacted us to

use our back hill for his Environmental Science Class project. He arrived with

shovels, bulbs, etc. to begin his task. Jordan chose our facility to bring “Joy”

after a long winter. In the spring, we will be looking forward to some beautiful

flowers. Thank you Jordon for including us in your project as it fits well with our

“Eden Philosophy”.

Tribute Cards

Tribute Cards are an attractive and efficient way to send caring messages to family

and friends, and at the same time support our Foundation. A lovely, personalized

message printed on a special card is sent to the recipient, and a tax receipt is issued

for your kind donation, for a minimum donation of $10.00. These beautiful cards

represent the artwork of Barbara Wallace who is the mother of our CEO, Judy Lane.

Tribute cards are most often used for messages of condolence, and for best wishes on

special occasions – birthdays, anniversaries, graduations to name a few.

Please call the Foundation office at 847-1131, ext. 1124.

Also, gift sets of 8 cards and envelopes are available from the Foundation office for

$20.00.
