January - February 2012 FUTURE PLANS A) The 2 nd Tower’s construction is on its way. It will be a 5 story building specially designed to host BPO, ITO and Contact Center companies. B) A 2-floor cafeteria is being built simultaneously which will also be a recreational center where employees will be able to use for relaxation, entertainment, and use of technology and music rooms. Newsletter The first two months of the year were very busy for Altia Business Park. We are growing rapidly; Tower 1 has already filled up and we have many companies lined up for the 2nd Tower. Since massive recruiting had to be done, Altia hosted its annual Sign Up Get a Job Fair to recruit as many call center agents and IT talent as possible. Representatives from many Call Center firms such as Atento,24/7,Minacs, Konecta,Pantvest, Tellamo, Guatecall, and Qualfon came to Honduras to take a closer look at Altia and what the country has to offer. They were curious to learn everything they could about Altia and the country including the Mayan Ruins! A Press Conference was held 2 weeks before the Sign Up Get a Job Fair where TV stations and Newspapers from around the country interviewed our staff and current customers. They shared with the press the importance of the job fair as it helps to fill up Altia’s database of pre-screened candidates for future jobs to open at each company. Sign Up staff!
