The children spent several afternoons researching their artists and practising techniques before creating their finished pieces or artwork. Our teaching assistants did a super job of displaying the artwork and the children were extremely proud of themselves when they visited the exhibition and saw how stunning their work looked. Children in Need 2016 The Big Spotacular - Friday 18th November On Friday 18th November we will be raising much needed funds for the very worthy charity ’Children in Need’. We are inviting children and staff to attend school on this day in non-uniform and go spot mad for a small donation of £1 per child. Children can join in with the spotty theme, wear pyjamas or fancy dress, the choice is yours! (please ensure they still bring a coat and sensible footwear for the outdoors). This is an ideal opportunity to discuss your child's progress and any concerns you may have. Winter Has Arrived! Now we are experiencing winter weather please ensure your child wears a winter waterproof coat and appropriate footwear to school each day. Thank you. No Sweets in School Please We would like to ask parents and carers not to supply sweets to children for break and lunchtimes. Not only are they bad for your teeth, sweets can be a chocking hazard especially when running around at playtime. Thank you for your co-operation.
