Book Fair
Alhamdullilah, the book fair was a great
success. We sold £486.04 worth of books
from which we received 10% to spend on
books for the school library. Jazakallah for
your continuous support!
Uniform
It is lovely to see so many of our children
looking smart in their uniforms. Please can
we remind parents that children should only
be wearing maroon jumpers or cardigans.
Labelling belongings
Please could we request parents once again
to label all of your child’s belongings to
avoid mix-ups.
Cold Weather.
As we have now entered the winter season,
we kindly request parents to dress their
children appropriately for the weather.
All children MUST come to school wearing a
coat and suitable footwear.

Our last coffee morning for this term will
be held on Thursday 21st December from
9:00am-9:30am.
Bake sale
Alhamdulillah, our bake sale was a huge
success and we raised a total of £724.77
for Rohingya. Jazakllah for all your support.
Parent’s meeting
We will be holding a Parent’s meeting on
Monday 8th of January to discuss your
child’s progress. Please try to attend.
Reading books
This term, we have had an increase in
children damaging/losing their school books.
We would like to request parents to help
their child look after school books as when
these are lost, children do not have access
to the full range of books.
Football and Hockey tournament
On the 15th of November, the year 5&6
children took part in a tournament against
French Wood Primary, Al Ikhlas Primary
school and Imam Muhammad Zakaria in
Preston. The children played brilliantly and
secured 2nd position. Well done!
Young writer’s competition
Well done to: Anisah Bashir, Esmaeel
Shahbaz, Maryam Saeed, Jamil Mohammed
and Aliya Ahmed for having their work
published in the Crazy Creatures Tales from
the North book.
Anti bullying week
Well done to the children who took part in
the ‘Odd Sock’ competition. Children learnt
about bullying and the consequences of
bullying. The Year 4 class presented an
assembly to raise awareness on different
types of bullying and what to do if they
encounter or witness bullying.
Booster sessions
Following the success of booster sessions
for the year 6 children, we have decided to
now hold booster sessions for the year 5
children also. We would like to request
