Result Analysis
Literacy in itself is no education. Literacy is not the end of education or even the beginning. By education I
mean an all-round drawing out of the best in the child and man-body, mind and spirit.

Inter House Competition IVS organized Inter House Competition as a
part of CCA. The students of D.El.Ed. &
B.Ed are divided into 4 houses. The inter
house competitions are organized on Friday
in which students participate with full zest.
These activities are judged by the experts
and winners were also announced. The
activities conducted under CCA: Food
without fire, menhdi competition, Kho-Kho,
cricket, carom competition, Janamashtmi,
matka competition etc.
These competitions enhance our student
knowledge as well as experience. Also, it
fills confidence in students and enhances
their sporting nature.
Independence Day Celebration
15th
August 2017 The institute celebrated 71
st Independence
Day of India in the college auditorium. The
programmed started with National Anthem.
Followed by students participation in the
cultural programs like reciting of patriotic
poems, singings of patriotic songs, dances
and many more such activities.
The program also included a speech to
show the importance of freedom and of our
freedom fighters like Shaheed Bhagat Singh,
Chandershaker Azad, and many others.
ORGAN DONATION CAMPAIGN
11th
August, 2017 An Organ Donation Campaign was
organized by the IVS on 11th
August , 2017.
Apart from academics our students are
extending their services in community work.
This programme was successfully organized
by the students of IVS with the collaboration
of “Venu Eye Hospital”. A Nukkad Natak
was performed by the students in Chirag
Delhi for imparting the information about
organ donation among the people.
JUL-AUG ‘2017
Board Decoration
In institute of vocational studies D.El.Ed and B.Ed
students decorate the board twice a month with their house
members. It is according to theme like festivals, National
and International days etc.
There are 4 houses and every house decorates its allotted
board as per turn.

Campaign
(Swacch Bharat Abhiyan & Tree
Plantation) 29th
September2017
IVS has also organized Campaign like Swach Bharat Abhiyan &tree Plantation. The Swach
Bharat campaign was started from the campus
with the banner & posters carried by the students. The purpose of Swach Bharat
Abhiyan was to spread awareness among the
residents of nearby areas like Madangir, Dakshinpuri etc; to keep hygiene &cleanliness
around them and to make the city a clean city.
Tree plantation campaign was done with an
aim to aware masses about the importance of growing trees and the benefits humans get
from trees. The campaign was successfully
completed by the students and has got much positive feedback and responses. It was a great
experience for them.
Fresher’s Party
(23rd
September, 2017) Institute of Vocational Studies organized
fresher’s party for 1st year students on 23
rd
September, 2017. This was a great way of
interaction with new students.
This was divided into three parts, first
introduction round, second: few game rounds and
last round is talent hunt. The competition was
judged by the jury members. Finally the results
were announced and IVS got Ms. Fresher and
Mr. Fresher for the year 2017.
It was a great experience for all the students.
Teacher’s Day Celebration
5th
September 2017 Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 5
th September
2017 in our college. In this programme all the
teachers and Principal of institute were cordially
invited. Students started this programmed with
Quranic Verses and Ganesh Vandana . After that
great number of performances like Group Dance,
Solo Dance, Poem recitation, Singing, Digital
presentation etc were performed by IVS
students.
Cracker Free Diwali Campaign
16th
October 2017
Cracker free Diwali campaign was organized by the students of Institute of Vocational Studies. The campaign was organized in the
MCD and SKV schools that were allotted for teaching practice. Students of IVS selected 20-25 students from 1st to 5th class and 20
students selected from 6th to 8th class, and organized poster making competition between selected students and the theme was ‘Crackers
Free Diwali’.
The posters judged in according to theme, colour selection, creativity etc. They selected 3 students to give them 1st, 2nd and 3rd position.
Our college gave them certificate.

Workshop on Theater Workshop

Institute of Vocational Studies invited the renowned personality of theater Mr. Arvind Gaur. He has directed
many famous movies of bollywood. His work is innovative, socially and politically relevant. His work deals with internet
censorship, communalism, caste issues and crime of states etc.
He shared knowledge of theatre experience with students and transferred his knowledge on the topics relevant to society.
With his interaction with students, students came to know how they can connect performing arts in different subjects to
make subject interesting. He is also an actor, trainer, social activist, street theater worker and story teller.
His positive vibes influenced the students and it was a great experience for them.
Workshop on OER (Open Education Resources) 7
th & 8
th December, 2017
Institute of Vocational Studies invited Dr. Mamur Ali who gave the knowledge about OER (Open Education
Resources). His valuable knowledge shared with students on OER and its importance enriched them academically. He
also shared the features of OER like: video editing, audio
editing, lesson plan, copy right, and YouTube filter etc. We are very lucky to be a part of this programme.
World of Wonder
15th
December, 2017 Institute of Vocational Studies organized the World of
Wonder trip for all the students of IVS. There was many many rides like:- Bumper boats, balloon race, Disk’O,
Double shot, roller coaster etc. That was a great fun for all the students, teachers and a great experience for all.
Educational Trip to Red Fort & National
Gandhi Museum 29
th December, 2017
Institute of Vocational Studies organized the trip to Red Fort for IVS students. This trip was related to S.St.and EVS
project work. The Red Fort is a historic fort in the city of Delhi in India. It was the Mughal dynasty for nearly 200
years, until 1856. All the students visited Red Fort and National Gandhi museum. The purpose of this visit is to
enhance their knowledge about the history and how these can be used as a learning resource in teaching and learning
of S.st. and EVS. Also the students learned the measures taken by the Government for the upkeep and maintenance of
the museums.
