Greetings from the Principal!
Welcome to CLAS. On behalf of our Leadership Team, we give glory to God for giving us the opportunity to offer an English-speaking International Elementary School here in Stuttgart.
We are committed to offering quality international Christian school education with programs that are consistent with our vision, mission, values, and philosophy of education. Our programs are meant to educate the whole child.
The whole leadership team of CLAS is committed to training our students in all areas of their lives: academically, socially, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually which is biblically founded so that they will prosper in all season of their lives.

Going High Tech
CLAS is now going HIGH TECH!. Thank you parents for purchasing our students’ brand new computers. Our school had purchased several online learning resources such as IXL for math and language arts, math for love, & Khan Academy. Our upper elementary (2nd graders and up) will start learning keyboarding where they start writing on the computer in polishing in documents and so forth.
CLAS in Action with FES
Music with FES students. Our students are learning German in a fun way through singing and interactions with FES Music students. The
FES Music students join our students once a week to learn a German and English song, titled, “Kommt Der Herbst mid bunter Pracht.”
Re-Cap - Pumpkin Festival
We have been learning about patterns where we can find everywhere especially in nature. We also explored different patterns in mathematics. To further explore different patterns made of pumpkins, we visited the biggest Pumpkin Festival in the world in Ludwigsburg and indeed it was an amazing experience we had. Thank you to all the parents and staff who came with us! Our kids are truly grateful and indeed, it was a day to remember!

Lifelong learning Internationalism Faith Empowerment
We are proud to announce beginning this month, CLAS is celebrating God’s unique and diverse creation. Our international school
community would like to introduce a new initiative together with FES 2nd graders in order to make an impact not only on our local
community, but also broadening our global perspectives by celebrating multiculturalism in God’s way. Our goal is to prepare God’s
children to be the light of the world through the following initiatives:
• Celebrates the diversity of God’s creation
• Offers a glimpse into a different culture
• Provides an environment for cultural exchange and understanding
• Creates awareness, presents new insights in classroom discussions
• Prepares students to walk and serve in the light of God!
This month we are celebrating - The Philippines! Our CLAS students are celebrating with the FES 2nd graders teaching them the
Philippine culture from learning the Philippine national game called, “SIPA.” It was so much fun to join our class with the FES 2nd graders
while they played together in the playground while FES students learn English and CLAS students learn German. We also taught them
how to dance the Philippine National Dance, called “Tinikling.” And this week, we learned about the meaning of the Philippine flag where
we learned about the meaning and symbols of the Philippine flag. We made a kite with a Philippine design on it.
The aim of this initiatives is to raise awareness of cultural diversity and to embrace all of the wonderful cultures which are represented
in our school of all students and staff on a daily basis. To be able to do this we need some help from you. Below is a specific country
scheduled for a month and we are allowed to set up an exhibition table in the foyer. Each child who is part of this specific focus country
for a month then has the chance to bring souvenirs, books, memorabilia, infact, anything which represent this country to school. This will
then be added to the table and have an honourable space for a month’s time. Perhaps the children would also like to share something
about their country with the rest of the school, this could also be arranged for in our morning assembly. Various food from the different
countries are also more than welcome!
Please keep in mind that when sending display articles to school that we are an international school.but most importantly a Christian
school. We hope to rely on your support in this matter as making our children aware of all the different cultures represented in our
school is such an important part of their education. We look forward welcoming all countries to our display table.
