    presented the migration stories of their family members or friends

    brainstormed and listed the various reasons for migration ,referring to the guest speaker session and personal migration stories

    sorted the reasons of migration into push or pull factors

    were assessed on their understanding of the vari-ous reasons of migration through a suitcase activi-ty- they identified the push and pull factors of a few countries Formative assessment

    were assessed on their understanding of collec-tive nouns through carousel activity

    not ancient history; this is living history. Most people of color can
