It seems our recent fundraisers have been very food related! Many thanks to South Coast Christian College who held a Cup Cake Day and raised $320 for Life FM - that’s a LOT of cup cakes!
Sat 14th July a team of volunteers ran a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle - this note from organiser Stewart Cramer: It was a great privilege last Saturday to share the day with a group of Christian Brothers and Sisters in joyful fellowship as we worked together for a united Christian objective. It alerted me to the privileges we enjoy such as congregating freely with the Life FM banner proclaiming our Christian faith. We gathered without fear for our lives or well being. We were displaying joy as we went about the business, being living examples to the community and then to add to our joy, people were buying the snags and a cool drink, the proceeds from which will go to proclaiming God's good news to the people.
The money raised and donated is really a bonus to me. God has all the money He needs to achieve His plans. It is really a privilege that God would use us to help Him achieve His plans for Life FM. To all those people who helped on the day to set up, pack up, cook, prepare onions, sell, collect money, to those who pledged funds this is an individual thank you. To everyone in the Church this is a collective thank you for the joy and privilege in sharing with you, it has been a real blessing. The day raised $714.15, plus pledges and the spirits of all associated with the day. See pages 6 & 7 for details of the Ladies High Tea Fundraiser on Sat 4th Aug...and check out our “Tradie For A Day” silent auction. If you remember The Fonz, vinyl records, one dollar notes and dial phones then you’ll remember the music in Life FM’s Retro Lunchtime Mix. It can be heard weekdays from 12 noon to 1pm and fea-tures Christian music from the 70’s & 80’s including Keith Green, Leon Patillo, Amy Grant, Kim Boyce, Petra, Randy Stonehill and Evie to name but a few.

Life FM is a listener supported station - we tried to do it on our own devising all sorts of plans to make money BUT God always brings us back to relying on Him through His people! This last 12 months has been particularly hard and once again God through His people (YOU!) has shown us that Life FM is making a difference and touching people in a way other ministries can’t.
