We will be covering various topics in U.S. Government including; origins of government, political parties, branches of government, the presidency, political and economic systems as well as state and local government.

* They can bring in a newspaper article or an online article that happened within the current week.

* It is important that we as parents and teachers help our students understand what is going on in our government and around the world to help them succeed in the future.

Current Events

What?You will learn vital skills that will prepare you for college courses and the work force, as well as learn how to be a good citizen.

Why?You are tomorrow’s leaders and it is important to understand our political system and what you have to offer it.

How?We will be using our text, outside sources, technology, field trips, people and many other resources to benefit you for the future.
