CIPL SALES UP ! Strong Q3 performance; FY Turnover to cross Rs. 200 Cr

In the first full year of commercial operations, Capacit'e Infraprojects is set to achieve Sales

turnover in excess of Rs. 200 Cr. This is evident from the Sales recorded till 31st December 2013

and the current pace of work progress across all Project Sites. Even as the CFO exudes

confidence that the actual performance is set to better the financial projections shared with

the Bankers, the focus on cost control and cost reduction remains undiminished.

COST CONTROL & COST REDUCTION Plan well, improve efficiency and effectiveness

In order to ensure sustainable growth, cost control & cost reduction are essential. Be it in

controlling the deployment of men, equipment & formwork or in controlling wastage of

materials & other resources, or in raising the productive output from the deployed resources,

perseverance of focus by all key personnel is called for. Close monitoring and controlling is

called for, to minimize cost, time and investment.

The Project In-charge has to plan, schedule, lead and control in a single minded manner

targeting timely completion within budgeted cost. Ensuring actual progress within planned

cycle times is an essential requirement for cost control. Identifying and releasing surplus

resources besides root cause analysis to resolve progress bottlenecks will reduce the

construction cost. By adopting the motto ‘Do it once, rightly’, cost and time saving can be

achieved. Everyone has a critical role to play to this effect.

QUALITY SPEAKS Quality & Workmanship at Lodha Park Site

The quality and workmanship of formwork at Lodha Park Site has been rated high by Mr. K K Pathak, Head (QA/QC). This is seconded by

Mr. Ashish Ghosh (Formwork), who credits the effort in making the formwork for the finish quality. The site team is appreciated for the

attention being paid to detail.

3. Avoid accommodation to the

extent possible; Factor

conveyance cost while fixing

accommodation;

4. Continuously monitor usage

and output, to identify and

release surplus staff,

workmen, non-moving stock

items, machinery etc.;

CCS South Africa the work of implementing its

famed construction industry specific ERP system

Buildsmart.

Besides a full-fledged procurement module

providing for requisition, authorization, purchase,

receipt, issue and stock features, it has a full suite

of accounting functions, AP, AR Sub Contractors,

GL, Cost Ledger, Cash Book, Bank Reconciliations,

Journals, Invoicing, Trial Balance, Income

Statement, Balance Sheet and P&L custom made

The configuration and data migration work has

been initiated and the user training is scheduled in
