NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

Important Notice Traffic Control

We have received several complaints from our neighbours and community members regarding parking and traffic issues in the roads surrounding the school during peak school drop-off and pick-up times. As we are unable to change the road infrastructure to cope with the volume, we request that all parents, school transport providers as well as learners refrain from obstructing driveways and the entrance to the school. Learners are reminded to be mindful of the traffic and to use the pedestrian crossings.

Uniform Reminders

Skinny pants are not part of the official school uniform and therefore are not permitted.

Bomber jackets may only be worn between April and September each year.

Generic white shirts may not be worn. Only the official Rand Park white school shirt which has been tailored for girls and boys is permitted. This shirt has the Rand Park badge embroidered on the left pocket.

Fast Food Deliveries during School Hours

Learners have been advised that they may not order fast food for delivery to the school during school hours and/or

break.

Open Day Civvies Tickets

Learners are required to wear their school uniform on 9 March 2019 for our Open Day and all-sports Derby versus HeronBridge and CBC Boksburg. Civvies tickets will be given to learners who arrive in school uniform. Learners must collect the tickets from the Leaders on duty at the flagpole area that morning between 08h30 and 10h30. Tickets not collected will not be distributed after this time. Learners with tickets may wear civvies on Monday,

11 March.
