It was an excellent time as the event was attended by over 8,000 people and well over 300 gave their lives to Christ! It was also a great way to begin our journey in England. We had a fun time camping and the weather held up for the most part with exception for a few sprinkles. As it was Eric's first time in England, he did wonder if all English people live in tents :-D .After Soul Survivor we headed southeast and said hello to the Twynham team that visited us in July, before heading further east to meet Eric's new in-law family for the first time!

God is Stirring PeopleEarly in August, we had a special guest visit us from America. Carlee Trabucco had been visiting in Ireland for the last 5 months as she has felt God leading her toward Ireland. She was working with a church called Calvary Waterford before heading up north to Sligo to scout the area. Carlee got in contact with us through the month of Prayer for the west of Ireland back in January. One of her friends in England happened to stumble across the month of Prayer and referred Carlee to it,

to which Carlee got in contact with Lyndsey.

We had a good time showing Carlee the area and meeting fellow Christians. It was very encouraging for not only her but us as well as clearly God is moving people's hearts toward Ireland. Whether Carlee ends up in Ireland or not, God is definitely stirring something in her heart and it was so wonderful to get to see that!

Ah, Wedded Bliss! After so much time and energy spent getting things ready for the wedding in England, it has finally come and passed! The wedding was absolutely perfect and beautiful, and we thank everyone who came and made it such a beautiful day, as well as those who could not make it. It truly was a wonderful time, from Noel Mills' "sausage sermon", and the terrific toasts, all the way to Seosamh O Faolain's toe tapping banjo music! It was a night we wished wouldn't end and we'll certainly never forget.

Car Trouble in Car Diff (Cardiff)Unfortunately, not all news has been good. On the way back from our honeymoon, our car broke down. After repairing a leak in the driveshaft assembly, a hole in the catalytic converter, and the rear exhaust assembly, as well as new tires, the repairs have ended up costing us over £500 / €650 / $800. In addition, the problem still persists despite everything spent, which has taken up most of our wedding money. Despite this setback, we are confident in God's ability to provide and are not fretting over our situation.

This all being said, our setback wasn't all bad. We happened to break down right where some of Lyndsey's good friends live in Cardiff, Wales, who so graciously took us in. Other than the added expenses, the setback has been a pleasant one in the company of good people such as Phill and the future Mrs Rosy Robinson, as well as Del, Louise, and baby Jac Griffiths.

A New Wee Church Called Manorhamilton ElimWe've saved one of the better bits of news for the last second! Effective immediately, we will be assisting Pastor Noel Mills in planting a new church in the town of Manorhamilton. This church will be an Elim Pentecostal one under the authority of John McEvoy, head of Elim in the Republic of Ireland. The people of Manorhamilton are very excited to have a church plant in their town and we are excited as well to assist and provide leadership. Immediately we will work to structure the church and present the vision and direction toward

those involved already.

Video May Have Killed the Radio Star, but Eric Resurrected Him...One of the coolest bits of news is on September 27 Eric got to be on the radio! Lyndsey's sister Emma was invited to be on Hope FM in Bournemouth, England to discuss her team's trip to Ireland back in the summer as well as her church's focus on missions. As such, Emma invited Eric to come along thinking it would be perfect to have the ACTUAL Field Coordinator on the radio with her! Eric, ever so humble to have the attention of being on the radio, graciously accepted. It was quite surreal to not only listen in to the local radio and hear Eric's voice, but also anyone all over the world could have listened in online at Hope FM's website www.hopefm.com.

Eric was asked about Missionary Ventures, his role as a Field Coordinator, the mission field in Ireland, as well as some light hearted discussion about being married "twice". All in all it was a terrific opportunity to discuss the need in Ireland. Eric was even invited to follow up on the radio in December to discuss how things have progressed! The recording of the program should be up on our website soon so keep checking for updates!

THOUGHTSThere is a lot to be excited about in the upcoming future, but to be honest, there are things that plague the mind as well. The two main issues are Eric's Visa and finances. We are believing in faith that the Irish Government will look favorably on our application, but that doesn't mean it's easy to think positively on such matters as already we've had our own trouble in the past with the UK government rejecting our visitors' fiancé visa. However, because God used the ill for good, we have hope even for this situation!

Finances are becoming important as we return to Ireland. Previously, Lyndsey had been receiving an illness benefit for her shoulder that provided a grace period for us as we prepared for the wedding and raised support. Instead, her benefits have stopped and have put us in an immediate situation to find income. The weak value of the Dollar against the Euro doesn't help much either! We are providing everyone with the opportunity to join us in our ministry in Ireland by supporting us financially, but in addition,

we will be working part time in numerous endeavors including Oasis Music in providing music lessons, other entrepreneurial efforts, and possibly picking up seasonal work if necessary to provide as needed, though this is not ideal as already our ministry requires more than 40 hours of work a week. We definitely value your prayers in this matter!

This time of year is marked in spiritual excitement as well as attack. People's spirits are lifted high as many things are starting back up after the summer break. At the same time, others are feeling burdened by sickness, despair, and depression. We believe this is because as good things are kicking off, there is opposition against it. It's so important to have you all on our side praying for us and offering moral support. It means more to us than you can ever know.

GO!One terrific way you can support us is by coming to Ireland either individually or on a team! If you are interested in coming to Ireland on a missions trip, please get in touch with your local Missionary Ventures office. The contact information is listed below under "Contact Us". In addition, you can get in touch with us and we'll get you set up! We certainly have plenty of room and numerous activities to keep you going. Believe it or not, no matter your talents, by simply being in the country you act as such an encouragement to the local people. As there aren't many Christians in the area, you will always be remembered and talked about for years to come! Twynham Team

PRAYERLiving in a foreign country, starting new lives together, and administering the gospel to people is certainly not without it's hardships. One of the best ways you can contribute is to pray for us continually as so many important things are taking place.

This month, please pray for:

• Eric's Visa - In the beginning of October we will be sending in the European Union Visa application. Pray God gives us favor with the person who reviews our document and all would be well.

• The New House - We will be moving into the house owned by the church in Carrick on Shannon when we return. Pray for a wonderful transition into our new home and lives together.

• Lyndsey's Shoulder - this still causes Lyndsey severe pain that is not only crippling at times but also discouraging against everything we are trying to accomplish. We believe this thorn in the flesh to be an attack but also that God is strong. Pray there would be complete and total healing!

• Noel Mills - Noel is the pastor we work very closely with in Ireland. In addition to providing us with many resources, including a house and car, Noel has been supporting us as well. Please pray for him and his ministry as he pastors 7 churches currently and works tirelessly. Also, please pray for him financially that God would reward his generosity.

• Manorhamilton Elim - the new church plant. Pray for wisdom as we work with Noel Mills in seeing this new church take off and do well, reaching people with the good news of Jesus Christ and building a strong and healthy community of believers in the town and area.

• Encounter - The weekly interdenominational outreach meeting among local churches is starting back up and moving to a more prominent location in downtown Sligo. Pray this new location would attract many more people and the leadership would be lead by God's Holy Spirit to act in one accord.

• Rivers Meeting - The Methodist Church in Carrick-on Shannon. Pray this church would continue to grow and thrive. It is one of the few beams of light in the west of Ireland. Pray also as we work to start up Bible Studies, Small Groups, and Outreaches with the church.

• Finances - as Eric is a foreign national he does not hold the same rights as an EU citizen would for getting any type of work to help if we need extra income for a bit. Coupled with Lyndsey's shoulder problem, we will be relying heavily on support from people in the beginning especially. Pray for God to bring alongside financial partners and churches that want to participate in what we are doing in Ireland.

SUPPORTSupport is a huge factor that allows us to function as missionaries in Ireland. Not only does it help pay the bills and fund ministry projects in reaching people with the Gospel, but it also allows us the special chance to partner with friends and family in commitment to a common cause. Giving isn't always easy, and having a new regular expense every month isn't comforting, especially when financial times are hard, but we have felt a strong emphasis from the Lord to encourage everyone to give whatever amount, great or small, that they can afford. Our basis for this belief is from Luke 21:1-4:

1As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3"I tell you the truth," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others. 4All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” - New International Version
