PLANNING WEEKNext week we will be operating on a modified timetable as part of planning week.Instead of students participating in their specialist programs throughout the courseof the week, these classes will be timetabled to occur on one day, thereby allowingall of the teachers at each level to be released. When teachers are released for theday during planning week, they will spend the entire day working collaboratively to
plan an overview of the curriculum program for next term. This approach to our term by term curriculum planning, helps to ensure a heightened
degree of consistency in our program delivery across all levels of the school. Planning dayfor Gr 3-6 is on Monday 20thJune - Gr Prep 2 is on Tuesday 21st June.
Wednesday July 13th
is set aside for our mid year parent/teacher discussion afternoon. This
forum is an opportunity for you to meet with your childs teacher and discuss your childs half yearly
report and any other matters that you believe may impact upon your childs education. An interview
notice will be sent home - please return to school asap so times can be allotted.
Half yearly reports will be sent home on Thursday 23
rd

On the 8th
of June 2016. A range of Grade 4, 5 and 6 boys walked over to Truemans Road to play 8
joyful and fun games of Soccer (or otherwise known as football in England).
Although we didnt win a single game, we still had a gallon of fun. Throughout the 8 games we scored
3 points. Everyone tried their hardest and everyone took their skill to a whole new level (Literally!).
Although there were some injuries, none of them were severe.
We took on other schools like Rye, Dromana, Boneo, Rosebud, Fatima, Sorrento, Red Hill and
Eastbourne. The teachers were cheerful and really helped us out. We also had some breaks and practised our
positions. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and entertaining day. By Hunter and Jai 5/6M
The Boys Footy was played on Wednesday of the 8th of June. We sadly lost all of the games
however we had some real star players like Luke, Jarvis, Isak, Josh, Max.G and Jyden. Big thanksto Mr. K, Mr King and Jackie. The biggest thanks to Scott for being our coach and Mr.K fororganising the day. By Dieter and Max H
