Newsletter No 22: Friday 16th July 2010
Dear Parents Dear Parents Dear Parents Dear Parents
First of all, I would like to thank all the KS 2 staff and children for the amazing performances of Joseph this
week. Involving every child fully in the performance was a new venture and it was as fantastic show! Thanks
too, to the SCPA who ran the “bar” and added some West End atmosphere!
Next year we are all looking forward to yet more exciting changes. The classes for September will be:-
Cherry – Foundation and Year 1 with Mrs Clements
Maple – Year 2 and Year 3 with Mrs Cookson
Ginkgo – Year 3 and Year 4 with Mr Cornish
Oak – Year 4 and Year 5 with Miss Phillips
Willow – Year 5 and Year 6 with Mrs Wargent
Maple and Oak classes will be swapping classrooms to give the older children a bit more space! We are also
building again – this time a shared outdoor learning area at the back of the art bay. This will give our Year 2, 3
and 4 children an extra learning space. We hope to have the work completed by the end of September and
look forward to making the most of it.
At the end of a really great year I would like to thank all the children, parents, governors and staff for making
St Christopher’s a very special place to be.
