MATHS REVISION AID The Mathswatch DVD-ROM was the best Maths revision aid for my child, and such good value" Is what one parent said about the Maths revision disc that we sell through school. One disc covers Foundation topics all the way up to Higher. Not only are there video clips explaining every Maths topic you can think of, but lots of practice questions, and the answers. Your child can buy one from their Maths teacher, or reception, for only 4. You need a pc to be able to run it. Don't leave it until year 11 - you can start using this disc from year 8 onwards.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ANNIE, OUR GREAT SWIMMER Last weekend was first weekend of the Gloucester Championships and Annie Brown became County Champion in the 50m breast stroke for the second year running. On this occasion, she broke the County Record which has stood for many years. Annie is also Junior Champion in the 50m freestyle. Annie has also qualified for the Nationals in Sheffield in July in 50m freestyle and, in doing so, was only 0.01 second off making the British Championships, which this year are the Olympic trials - maybe next time, Annie. Annie gets up at 4.30am four mornings a week to go to the swimming pool for two hours practice before she gets ready for school. Dedication like this coupled with her talent will see Annie a national success in her swimming in the not too distant future.
