    NE# RE/ULATION' FOR '$HOOL MEAL DE%T' - urrent regulations on school

meal debts state that all debts should be sent to the local authority for collection once theyare outstanding for more than three weeks or e?ceed @30.00. 6rom pril indi'idualschools become responsible for their own debts and therefore any shortfall for meals willneed to be paid for from our school budget. / am sure you will appreciate that the schooldoes not ha'e the capacity to fund any debts and therefore we must insist that meals arepaid for in t"e 0ee t"ey are eatenor a packed lunch pro'ided. /f you could get into the

habit of paying each !onday that would be helpful = we will continue to te?t out each weekto remind anyone who may ha'e o'erlooked payment. owe'er, anyone with debtsunpaid from the pre'ious week will need to make alternati'e arrangements for their childuntil the debt is paid. 6rom pril we will ring parents at lunchtime if no money or lunch ispro'ided.
