Newscast Director

Responsible for directing a morning or evening newscast on KTTV/KCOP. Will work closely with lineproducer on daily rundown and changes affecting the daily broadcast, also will work closely withexecutive producer on scheduled remotes and with the producer on direction and style of thenewscast. Must be available for on-air broadcasts of breaking news and special news reports duringmajor news emergencies and be available to direct on a fill-in and/or emergency basis other Fox 11News casts.

A minimum of 3 years' experience directing news or other related news programming in a majormarket. Ability to code and direct with ELC/Sony automated system and to code audio componentsas well. Ability to use AXIS/LUCI/CAMIO tools for graphics production. Thorough knowledge ofstudio, news and other commercial experience. Good interpersonal and communication skills andability to work well under pressure. College Graduate.
