host an AARP Driver Safety Program on

Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 20-21, from

10 a. m. to 3 p.m. at

the Criminal Justice

Academy, 14601 Lee

Road, Chantilly.

Driver Safety Program

$12 for members; $14 for non-members.

Kinship Focus Group

The Kinship Focus Group for Grandparents

and Other Relatives Raising Children will

meet on Thursday, Sept. 2, from 5:30 to 8

p.m. at the Mount Vernon Unitarian

Church, 1909 Windmill Lane in Alexandria.

Kinship Focus Group

Dinner and child care are provided.

Registration is required.

This year’s book is “The Art of Racing in the Rain” by Garth Stein.

Stein will make an appearance on Sunday, Sept. 19, at Fall for the Book.
