Ms. Hafsa Sana, 23yrs - was suffering from Tuberculosis Meningitis (TBM) and Poly Trauma Post RTA, she was admitted in ICCU for Critical Care Management in Ashwini Hospital, Pune. She was discharged from the Hospital with complete recovery. HHF has paid Rs. 2.0 lacs for her treatment from the funds collected.

COCHLEAR IMPLANTATION & HIGHER END HEARING AIDS

Master. Syed Moin Uddin, 4yrs – He as suffering from Congenital Profound Hearing Loss and underwent Cochlear Implantation done by Dr. Ranga Reddy at Ozone Hospital – Post surgery Higher End Hearing Aid given to him for another ear. The total cost of the surgery & hearing aid was Rs. 15.0 Lacs sponsored by SEED-USA.

MOM DEAD AT OGH, BOY CLINGS TO BODY.

We again wish to thank all those faithful citizens of this country and more so the NRIs for showing your love and affection for master Shoeb, whose tragic story made international news. We have started receiving some funds and today we have bought him new clothesand a tri-cycle, which he wanted. He was on cloud nine after taking a trial ride. Earlier today, our child counsellors had a very fruitful session with the child. Our next step is to put him into a good residential school, which will address most of our concerns.

FOOD & HYGEINE PACKS DISTRIBUTED TO TB PATIENTS AT BARKAS HOSPITAL

We have launched a grass root level contact program for MDR TB patients in the urban slums of the city, a counseling session on prevention and food and hygiene packs were distributed to 40 patients today at Barkas community heath centre in conjunction with the Govt District TB officials.

Our “Swacch Gandhi" program to keep Gandhi Hospital clean and safe is gaining traction and our Volunteers are doing a wonderful job today in helping clean the Govt hospital premises.

A BURN CASE WAS SUPPORTED FROM THE ADMISSION TILL DISCHARGE AT OGH

Recently 2 young students of a Madarsa were electrocuted in Wahed Nagar, Malakpet Area of Hyd by high tension wires dangerously passing thru that area...Danish the 10 year old sustained severe electric shock burns on his hands and neck and was in critical condition, however by the good efforts of the OGH doctors and constant care and personal attention of our volunteers and above all by the mercy of almighty, the young boy from a poor family of bihar is out of danger and recovered 85%.

Almost 5% of Cancers reported in the Telangana are pediatric cancers and on the occasion of World Cancer Day, it is important to give the message that affordable options in treating Pediatric Cancers need to be explored by families and we believe this is an important step to mitigate financial distress caused by high out of pocket expenses in treating cancer in children....In the case of Baby Nazia from Eluru, 4 yrs old was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia in 2015 - she was successfully treated in the state run cancer hospital and is #free of the disease - HHF supported them for travel, stay & medicine and rest of the treatment was free under Aryogyasri which would otherwise costed 5.0 lacs to 8.0 lacs in Private Setting

26 year old, Monika diagnosed with cancer of the tongue is among the #200 odd head and neck cancer patients who has been enrolled by us in the Nutritional supplement program and who is undergoing radiation therapy at MNJ Cancer hospital, she weighed 57kgs after a month of taking dietary supplements and now she weights 61kgs a clear case of good nutrition helping her fight the disease.
